Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping at SoraMart.shop. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver your orders across India.


1. Shipping Coverage

We currently deliver to most locations across India, including:

  • ✅ Metro cities

  • ✅ Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities

  • ✅ Most rural and semi-urban locations

🚫 We do not offer international shipping at this time.

If your pincode is not serviceable, you will be notified during checkout or by our support team.


2. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Once your order is dispatched, the estimated delivery time is:

  • Metro Cities: 2–4 business days

  • Tier 1 & Tier 2 Cities: 3–5 business days

  • Tier 3 Cities & Remote Areas: 5–10 business days

  • Custom / Special Orders: May require additional processing time (you’ll be informed if applicable)

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors such as:

  • Weather conditions

  • Strikes, lockdowns, or transport restrictions

  • Festive and peak season load

  • Operational delays by courier partners


3. Shipping Charges

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your order value, shipping method, and location. As a general guideline:

  • Standard Shipping: ₹49 – ₹99

  • Express Shipping (where available): ₹149 – ₹199

  • Free Shipping: Applicable on certain products or offers

  • Remote / Out-of-Delivery-Area Charges: An additional ₹50 – ₹100 may apply in some locations

Any applicable shipping charges will be clearly visible before you complete your payment.


4. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are usually processed within 24 hours of placement, excluding Sundays and public holidays.

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST may be processed on the next business day.

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email/SMS with tracking details.

In rare cases, processing may take longer due to stock checks, address verification, or other operational reasons. You will be notified in case of significant delays.


5. Tracking Your Order

You can track the status of your shipment through:

  • Your account dashboard

  • The tracking link shared via email/SMS after dispatch

  • The courier partner’s tracking page using your tracking ID

If tracking information is not visible after 24 hours of dispatch, please allow some time for the courier system to update.


6. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

  • Our courier partners typically make up to three (3) delivery attempts.

  • If you are unavailable or the address is incorrect/incomplete, the package may be:

    • Held at the nearest courier hub for a limited time, or

    • Returned to our warehouse.

If the shipment is returned to us due to incorrect address, repeated non-availability, or refusal to accept, we may:

  • Deduct two-way shipping charges and process any eligible refund (as per our Refund Policy), or

  • Charge an additional re-delivery fee if you request re-shipment.


7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

If your order is lost, excessively delayed, or received in damaged condition:

  1. Contact us at soramart@mailbox.org

  2. Share your order number and, where applicable, photos/videos of the outer packaging and product

We will:

  • Coordinate with the courier partner to investigate the issue, and

  • Provide a resolution within 5–7 business days, which may include a replacement, reshipment, or refund (as per our policy).

⚠️ Claims for damaged or tampered deliveries should be raised within 48 hours of delivery/expected delivery.


8. Special Conditions & Peak Periods

  • Bulk Orders: Large or bulk orders may require additional processing and shipping time. Our team may contact you for confirmation or clarification.

  • Festive & Sale Seasons: During festivals, national holidays, or major sale events, dispatch and delivery times may be longer than usual.

  • Force Majeure Events: Natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other events beyond our control may affect shipping timelines.
